Are you fearful of flying?
If you are one of the many fearful out there you could probably do with some words of advice to comfort your nerves somewhat. Fear of flying can come from a number of factors. You may have developed a fear since 911. Some fly happily for years and then develop a fear later in life and cannot explain where the fear came from. Some feel claustrophobic in small planes. Some fear heights or simply don't like being locked into a plane and losing control. Some just fear crashing or hijackings. You should reassure yourself that airplane safety has a great record. You are 22 times more likely to be involved in a car crash than a plane crash. If that doesn't settle your nerves, here are a couple of other statistics! You are more likely to be kicked to death by a mule than die in a plane crash. Finally, you would have to fly on random flights every day for 19,000 years to get in a plane crash. Does that make you feel any better?

If you are still feeling nervous then may be it would help you to do some research into the safest airplanes, airlines have to offer. You can do your research to find the safest airplanes on the internet. There are numerous articles and books on the subject. Simply type in 'safest airplanes' and you will get thousands of pages to browse through.
If that doesn't do it for you then you should consider going through a program to help alleviate your fears.
